The Rewards Of Cultivating Wellness

Cultivating wellness with love serves our overall health and wellbeing. It seems a good time to bring up the subject of cultivation since for many of us in the northern hemisphere, this is the time when we start formulating our plans for what we want the plant kingdom to bring us in the upcoming growing season. We’ll be cultivating in anticipation of a return for our efforts of preparation and sowing.

The definition of “cultivate” is: try to acquire or develop (a quality, sentiment, or skill) or foster the growth of.

The majority of the time we don’t give much thought to what we’re cultivating in our life, except for when unforeseen or unwanted circumstances come our way. Then we wonder why we’re experiencing less than comfortable reactions to what is happening. Had we, and are we, putting effort into worthwhile purposes?

Cultivating wellness requires awareness and participation, because let’s face it, there are times when life throws stuff at us we weren’t prepared for. If we’re committed to mindful cultivation of wellness in our life, we’ll be better able to handle the ebb and flow of life. We make the choice to live in a conscious manner.

We’ve heard it a thousand times, what we send out comes back to us. It is what we give our attention and energy to that grows. Are we sowing seeds of love by remaining true to our heart-centered nature? If we’re having difficulty staying connected to our heart centre, energy medicine such as Reiki can helps us clear and release blockages.

Cultivation is aligned with intention. It’s part of the process to determine what we’ll harvest as a result of our focused attention. As we evolve and our thirst and desire for growth beckons, we’re each tasked to go within and tend to our own being of creation. If we’re not bringing to us experiences of joy, we’ve not cultivated from a loving standpoint.

When we intend with love, the direction of the reciprocity is set. It may not return in the way we expect, but it does come around sometimes in surprising ways.

If what we experience in life does not bring us much enjoyment and love, our cultivating actions and intentions need attention. We may find extending a bit more compassion to our own self and others, or expanding our perception to consider higher perspective of Soul vision could help realign us to joy.

We’re able to recognize what it is we need to change by observing what’s presented to us, especially in the form of triggers.

Relationships are like boomerangs. They bring back home to our hearts what we cultivate in them. Avoiding judgements helps us cultivate healthy relationships with the world around us. We may not understand what people do, we may feel sorrow for what others are going through, or a zillion other feelings can surface–but love—we cultivate it for ourself by accepting others as they are.

If rooted in cultivating wellness, we can easily release what’s not contributing and benefiting our well-being.

Extending help, kindness, courtesy, respect, generosity, acceptance, or engaging in any other acts from a heart-centered motivation ensures the returns from what we cultivate will be along the same lines.

It’s the growth we each want to experience. As we let others come to their own realization and appreciation, we take our own ability to consciously cultivate to a whole new level. Consciously choosing to relate to everything around us in a detached and observatory way, helps us cultivate more rewarding outcomes and manifestations.

Staying in acceptance helps us to know gratitude. We realize it’s all there for our benefit and evolution. Releasing judgements and expectations allows life to flow to us.

We live in anticipation when we’ve extended our creative nature with heart-centered intention.
